West Virginia Veterans benefits attorney Jan Dils today expressed a warm welcome home to troops in response to President Obamas formal ending of the Iraq war.

But we also know that thousands of Veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts may be facing another battle on the home front if they were injured during their tours of duty, Dils said. We are here to support them.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the government agency that processes disability claims for wounded soldiers, is swimming in a deepening pool of disability claims stemming from the Gulf War, according to a recent McClatchy News Service article.

The VA received 1.3 million claims for disability benefits in 2011. The National Organization of Veterans Advocates estimates that 10,000 new disability claims from Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans are submitted to the VA each month. At this rate, Iraq disability claims may exceed those made by Vietnam War Veterans, the McClatchy report stated.

The VAs overflow problem is not a new one, said Dils, who assists injured Veterans in obtaining disability benefits for physical and mental wounds sustained during the war.

The agency is taking steps to address the issue by hiring more workers, Dils said. In the interim, however, that means that countless numbers of deserving Veterans may be losing out on the benefits they deserve.

Service members returning home from Iraq may have sustained service-related disabilities ranging from traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and hearing loss to post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD) and chronic adjustment disorder, Dils said.

Veterans now wait for an average of 188 days before receiving a decision from the VA about their eligibility for disability benefits. Many are denied upon the first application, according to Dils. The error rate in disability decisions is also high at 16 percent, according to a VA review cited in the McClatchy report.

Disabled Veterans can increase their chances of a successful application for benefits with the help of a qualified attorney, Dils said. A Veterans disability benefits lawyer is familiar with all of the complicated requirements and can help compile all of the information needed to increase the likelihood for claimants to receive benefits on the first try.

In addition, lawyers can help Veterans who are denied benefits to prepare for their appeals a process often fraught with meeting key deadlines and gathering additional information.

It is not an easy process to obtain disability benefits, but it can make a world of difference for families and troops who are struggling with the long-term effects of injuries sustained in Iraq and Afghanistan, Dils said.

Checks can range from anywhere between $ 127 and $ 2,769 per month. Even the smallest amount of assistance can make a difference for soldiers with lifelong ailments, particularly if they can no longer work.

Dils urged any Veterans who are applying for disability benefits to consult with an attorney or claims representative to ensure that their applications fulfill the VAs requirements.

1.A set schedule: This can be a pro if you like this kind of thing, but I felt it was restrictive. You choose your shift during the application process and you are committed to that time for a while, at least a few months I think. You also can’t miss any days for the first 30 days or something like that. Which is true of a regular job as well. Also part time was considered 30 hours per week. So either way this job requires a big time commitment.

2.Low Pay: Yes the checks are regular but the exchange is the pay is low. The training pay is minimum wage for your state and then after that it might go up a couple of dollars depending on which job you are on and your time with the company.

3.Zero Noise Tolerance: This one is obvious for a call center position, but for me as a mother 2 really young children at the time, it was nearly impossible to keep them quiet when they were supposed to.

4.It’s just like a regular job: If this is your thing then it’s a pro. But as a con that means sometimes you get bored, there’s office politics, you might feel underpaid and under-appreciated and you may start to feel like a prisoner in your own home.

In conclusion,if you are looking for a legitimate work at home call center position then Alpine Access is definitely the way to go. The training is solid and thorough and you have a chance to work with big name companies even at home. It wasn’t for me personally because I am a stay at home mom and my children were really young at the time. That meant I had and still have tons of background noise. A quick overview of the trading times is as follows:

GMTSydney: 22:00 to 07:00

Tokyo: 00:00 to 09:00

London: 08:00 to 17:00

New York: 13:00 to 22:00

ESTSydney: 17:00 to 02:00

Tokyo: 19:00 to 04:00

London: 03:00 to 12:00

A few observations can be made from the above:

The above relates to times for doing day trading, but there are also some times when markets conditions are not conducive to trading, such as when crucial economic data is released and during public holidays in one of the markets.

Many automated forex trading robots incorporate volume and volatility triggers that influence whether a trade will be entered into or not, essentially doing the work for you when to comes to the best times to trade forex.

My experience is that the best times to trade forex are during the UK and US overlapping times and the rest of the US session under normal trading conditions. Furthermore, high volatility times (ie economic data releases) should be avoided, unless you have a specific system that caters for these conditions (there are however, systems available for these conditions). Late trades on a Friday afternoon are also best avoided!

MLM is an answer. There is a new one called One24 that may still have room to grow. But if you don’t want to do that you could always create a site and sell products as an affiliate. It would not cost much money to set-up and could be quite profitable. Maybe do both. The more income streams you have the better. There are also a bunch of companies out there who need phone sales agents and administrative tasks done that can be accomplished from the home. Hope this helps.

Work From Home — A typical day for me

particular date is a Wednesday. I woke up at 8:00 o’clock in the morning and decided a trip to Sandia Mountain, the mountain adjacent to Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is also home to the longest tram line in the world. There is a 2 Mile drive each way by tram. It has been several years since I was on top, and it was such a beautiful day, I just wanted to get out and run a place that would be peaceful and sit where I could, and only on our lives to reflect and concentrate on my goals for the family, as we move foward with this business. I left the house with 10 clock. It has me clear up a few hours before I left and to my emails and then make sure everything runs smoothly with my business. I decided to ride on the street on the east side of the mountain, hoping to see some animals, but then no. It took a good hour and a half to get to the top of the mountain. Once on top, I parked my car and made my way to the lookout point. It was a great place to be able to see for miles in all directions. When I went on the road that leads along the cliffs, I found a place where I could see the tram up and down. While I sat there, I thought back to the time I worked in the corporate world and was so grateful that I’m sitting there at this moment to enjoy the view, instead of putting in an office with all the drama, low wages and mismanagement. I felt like I was on top of the world! I’m also back at the places my wife said she wanted the things they wanted to do as a family to travel. I spent a good hour to just sit, think and take pictures. My daughter and I plan to walk along the west side of Sandia to the famous La Luz Trail in a few weeks. It will likely move us around 4 hours to the top of the mountain. The last time I walked this route in 1995, a few months after my daughter was born. Now my daughter and I plan to do it together. The weather was not too hot or too cold with a nice breeze along the coast. It was at 12.30 clock, when I decided to go back down the mountain. I was in contact with my wife and she suggested we eat together when I come down the mountain for lunch. So when down, I met her for lunch and shared some of the things I thought to enjoy the company of others. It felt like we were on vacation somewhere lunch because it was one of those rare occasions when I worked in the corporate world. So we are on the way home, the time was around 14.00. We got home at 15.00 clock and took an hour nap before our children came home. When she got home, I got up at 4:00 clock and I started the business and have some lessons I completed my undergraduate degree in business administration. Think back to you on this day, I decided to do many other things with my time. I would have gone some fishing, visiting a relative who went to buy a movie, gone, or just stayed home and looked to see movies. You have full control over your time, and also how much money you make.
