It goes without saying that I didn’t reveal my account details, in fact I haven’t replied to the emails.
They both give the same story, a very rich family has been wiped out in a plane crash and as the families executors they need to have a foreign bank account number for the inheritance to be paid in to and I was chosen to be the lucky recipient !
Judging by the names given and the broken English I suspect they originated in Africa.
I want to report the scam to a proper authority to try and prevent this fraud catching someone out.
