You’ll also need to equip yourself with the right tools or the right vehicle to be able to move forward. If we look back to the car analogy, having a clear goal is the first step towards success. You know where to go, but if you have the wrong road map, you’ll never get there.

You may have all the motivation you need to get there but you just won’t make it. You can have a positive attitude about it, but you will still fail to reach your destination.

Set a specific time line for your business goals

If you set a goal to be financial independent someday, that day will never come. Your goals must be much more specific. Set a date and time when to start your new career, otherwise procrastination sets in. You’ll put off your action plan, you’ll wait for the perfect day to start your journey to financial independence. That day will never come. Just set a date and start.

Your mind is a very powerful force. Your thoughts have the power to change. You will gain what you think. If you think “I will try to achieve my goals”, you really think “I might fail”. Think that you’re going to succeed with your small business ideas.

You can’t afford the possibility of failure in your thoughts or in what you speak. Pay close attention to your thoughts and words. Take away all negativity. Stay Focused and believe in your success. Every night before go to sleep, write in your new life journal. List what you accomplished to move you forward toward your goal.
