Becareful I know you said your funds are low but check with your local government, in some areas you must be insured or bonded to do such work. Back to your question… Try and get an e-mail list together and e-mail a business card and word of mouth will be very effective and don’t forget flyer’s in public areas (just check with owners first).

You can produce your own leaflets and posters on your computer. Place these locally where you can, go and talk to local shop owners and businesses asking them to display your leaflets or posters. You never know a local business may take you on for their machines.
You need to sort out an easy pricing structure, maybe even advertise free repair estimates so you get people to your door.
