Why do people want to start a work at home business? When asked, people will talk about making money, boot the boss, more time with the family, improved life quality, the chance to travel…
However, if we study the list in detail there is one theme that underlies all the specific items on the list. There is one reason why people start a work at home business, they are really looking for…freedom!
That’s what it boils down to, No one boss you around anymore. No alarm clock for your never ending 9 to 5 cycle. No more sorry kids we can’t go to Disneyland because we are short of money. Or not being able to go to the ballgame, or the class play because you’ve got to work.
Some people may think it’s all about the money
But when you got honest answers from people, you will find that the majority are happy to make the same as they do from regular jobs. We just want to ditch the boss, the alarm clock, the coat and tie, the uncomfortable shoes, some unpleasant customers, and the fear of life just passing by.
It is great! I have this life, and the main reason it’s fantastic, is freedom! I do what I want or need on my todo list,I don’t ask permission or worry about what will happen with my paycheck if I stop early today…and maybe take a day off tomorrow.
Yes freedom really make life better, it is real, I revel in it, but let me give you the full picture here
Success is dependent on preparation, and you have to be persistent with your efforts to maintain your work at home business. If you stop early some day or take a few days of, at some point, you have to take the responsibility for your work at home business.
In other words, you have to do what it takes to make your business a success. You have to do all the things your boss would have told you to do. Now you have to do them yourself, you are the boss! And the secretary, and the sales man, and the receptionist, and…..
But hey! you can pack your PC and work from wherever you want. Yeah you’ve got freedom, but you have a business to think of too. So you’ll need a room with ocean view and high-speed Internet…..
