  2. Th3ycallm3tom Says:

@lunamoth12 Photoshop has an option which allows you to export a sliced image/design into a web page coded using tables, and tables are no ment to be used to layout the design of your site you could get away with tables years ago but now using CSS to style? your page is the way to go.

  3. Th3ycallm3tom Says:

@geebones I would normal design a layout using photoshop, once the design phase is finished use the slice tool built into photoshop, slice it up and export the slices alone, once you have these I would normaly hand code it using a basic editor like Notepad or a varation of it, I used to use dreamweaver but I haven’t bothered to install it on my new computer as it doesn’t really make that much of a diffrence.

I do my CSS with notepad, what do you say that?

  43. bboybram Says:

Most people don’t know much html codes, DW would help you in understand which codes you’re using when doing a…. something.

  44. DevenMin Says:

I use photoshop, notepad++, and css

  45. garchauro Says:

Yes, and the same time, you will be respecting the user’s decisions on how he/she wants to browse the web. (If you have a black desktop, with black controls, it is disgusting to browse white sites)
Putting too much detail into a website, will make it unfriendly to blind people, for example. (How a site is supposed to be read to blind people? What about people with epilepsy?)
And there is a cost-effectivity trade off which is better addressed by simple html.

  46. darkgamer38 Says:

    CSS with Notepad++ = Win;

  47. TehGom Says:

I was just responding to g4fan1. Using Notepad for CSS wouldn’t be that… great.

  48. simoperationsonline Says:

I just directly use the text editor in my website’s cPanel. I used Microsoft Expression to start up the template, but then direct html for adding content =D

“”if you are a fan of 3rd rock from the sun and think they should make more with the orginal cast copy and paste this to 3 more videos!!!!”"

  50. revolutionize017 Says:

because most people don’t trust WYSIWYG software programs lik Dw, it would be better to use text editor by editing the codes manually to assure that there’s no errors. im Using UltraEdit text editor btw.
