I really liked this series – now 11 I believe that with this installment. E ‘is unique in many ways and teaches many lessons about life. If the TV series is too large.
In addition to obvious things like major characters in the series – after a while, “which seems to actually know them as real people – what I really enjoyed the series are Botswana and details of their lives. So much of it is positive, unlike much of what you hear about Africa in those days. The books also teach many lessons useful for people everywhere, but a / Botswana African point of view, which really can shine a light where it needs to shine, so to speak.
first book was particularly good at portraying the background Botswana and point of view – I assume this accuracy as a writer lived long. The author seems to deviate from this because the series progressed – maybe he thought that the players had enough and knew everything already and did not want to hear about it so much. I agree. That’s what I stuck to the series.
/>
I’m glad to see that this new series back to its original in many ways shows us a bit more about the real Botswana, especially something that we have not seen in the series – the delta region. The general document seems too strong – an improvement over # 10 I think. I will not go into it too as a reader usually as a surprise.
I hope that fans of the series will return to read this latest book, meet favorite characters again, and Botswana have fun and learn about life in general, too.

This is the 11th installment of Alexander McCall Smith magical and exciting series of detective living in Botswana. It is not necessary to have read all the other books in the series, but if you have not read any, this is probably not the best place to start.
The structure is very similar to other series, with cast of familiar characters will appear. There are basically four interwoven stories. Mma Makutsi Mr. Phut Radiphuti boyfriend in an accident and she clashes with her aunt over who should deal with him back to health. Mma Ramotswe Meanwhile, a number of cases moving. She asked if a man is unfaithful to help another man who cheated of their money and travel with Mma Makutsi Okavango Delta to find a short safari which was left money in a will. But these stories often take second place to discussions about teapots, new boots and advantages of the new blue truck.
The book begins with Mr. JLB Matekoni meditate on Road Rage and the futility of responding to it and ends with Mma Ramotswe pondering how to live a good life. “Do not complain about your life. Do not blame others for things that you take with you. Be happy with who you are and where you are, and do everything possible to get to second the satisfaction and joy, and understanding that you can find yourself. “
It is a beautiful, hot and confused novel that lives in everything else in this wonderful series.

In fact, 11 are equal to 1 and 20-10 as well: I never thought that novels were. This is a remarkable literary success, to write eleven novels great and pleasant, with our favorite characters will be even sweeter with time, and without lowering the quality in any way.
So cheers eleven Alexander McCall Smith is not only this novel as a work in itself – which is good in itself – but in this extraordinary literary results of a series of eleven novels, all of which is as good as another. Even JRR Tolkien succeeded (with the Lord of the Rings, only three volumes), and Dickens’s novels were all about the characters separated. No, this is a truly remarkable achievement. . .
And even more so given that our favorite author has written other series – including two new novels set in London (soon to be released in the U.S.), which is just as good, and unfortunately, apparently not so well known and appreciated by McCall Smith aficianados which perhaps should be, because they may as well not to mention hilarious fun, best known as the African series volume eleven.
So read and enjoy this novel, and then immerse in his other series, in Edinburgh (two series), London (one) and Germany (a series).

Alexander McCall Smith is a skillful storyteller who gives his readers a great joy every time I publish a new novel about MMA. Ranotswe and the largest Ladies Detective Agency. You can always count on Mr. Smith for an essay, story of the friendly and familiar characters in his ongoing series. In this latest chapter in MMA. Ranotswe trying to help a man betrayed by his house, finding a guidebook in the wild Okavango Delta and help his friend and fellow MMA. Makutsi (who graduated with honors from the Botswana Secretarial College services with an average of 97%) when her boyfriend was an accident, and his aunt will not go hostile.

Precious Ramotswe to solve crimes in Botswana ably assisted by his faithful assistant Mma Makutsi is told in another kindly provided by Alexander McCall Smith humorous. Comfort double Safari Club has some mystery, manages some minor tragedy and Smith to invest some “cunning tickery legal here.
Precious Ramotswe is the case of a mystery that drives has left behind a major American tourist grateful that you remember their kindness. The only problem now”the tourist delay can not remember the name or the name of the company they worked for. Mma Makutsi valuable and must travel to the area to find this man. Journey is full of small observations of life – that will stay with, and most importantly (for MMA Makutsi) what shoes to use. McCall Smith is his funniest best in these discussions. Mma Makutsi valuable information while driving is just wonderful.
Meanwhile, Mma Makutsi against tragedy. Her boyfriend Phut Radiphuti Double Comfort furniture store was hit by a truck and is now in hospital with an amputation. Sorry for Mma Makutsi, there is an aunt. There is always a aunt in Botswana, but this is a jealous aunt aunt. Mma Ramotswe Preious Makutsi and must navigate the difficult world of aunts and unpleasant to see tanninbehandlade Raduphuti and give him a good health care that only a girlfriend can give.
< , br /> While there is some legal question, a man who thought he was in love and was betrayed to his home to his fiancee was deceived by it. He will Mma Ramotswe in to despair, he knows that she can not do anything really – just maybe there is something. This case is a nice little “showing a dark shadow from the past, Violetta Sephotho!
In all interconnected stories McCall Smith succeeds investing strong voices in all their characters. I like the gentle wit and humor behind everything, for example, is the debate within Mma Ramotswe through when I pray to offer tea to a client. Now when you use a little teapot tea that’s just for one person in it and go with Grace she can not ask a man to make the tea extra – so that when a client will talk to you, DECIDE after much reasoning procedure, which is better not to offer him tea. Until his (male) assistant offers to make tea out of the blue – and solves the problem.
McCall Smith puts his characters in Safari, and while one can expect that the people of Botswana used for Bush – they are not. These city dwellers, accustomed to living in the city. Journey to the canoe safari area is peppered with brilliant speech on the “drivers” from hell. No error or a problem or a possible end fatal to their unrelished is left of him.
Full of wonderful humor, this is another chapter in the life of the Number One Ladies Detective Agency.
